The owner was very friendly. It is ran by an elderly couple who are the sweetest. Food was very affordable and also tasted very good. I had the mussels risotto and the mussels were super fresh. If you’re waiting for your ferry or coming off your ferry, do stop by here! They even gave us free fruits on the house🥹❤️

Truly the best food I had while in Greece! Made a point to go there twice it was that good! A real family owned restaurant. You can really tast the love and care they put into everything. Such a cute friendly old couple. Get a lot of food for cheap too!

Great place for souvlaki and gyros platters. Even better, the owner and staff showed us Canadians some incredible Greek hospitality. The grapes at the end were a beautiful touch. My wife and I thank you for making our stay in Rafina memorable. 🇨🇦❤️🙏

After 8 days in Greece this was our favourite experience and the best gyro we had. If you're looking for an authentic locals spot for Greek food this is it. Owned and operated by elderly couple Dimitri and Efi - Dimitri front of house and Efi in the kitchen. Though there was a significant language barrier we were greeted very warmly and made to feel welcome. Dimitri speaks English but it is quite limited. Most patrons were locals. The service was excellent and our food came out quick and hot. We ate plenty of gyro pitas in Greece but these were by far the best and cheapest at less than 4 Euros each. Dimitri clearly has so much pride in their business and is excited to show you younger photos of himself and his family displayed on the walls. The food was so good I returned the next day alone while my partner was at work and was again greeted like a friend. Dimitri sat a local man at my table after the shop filled up and I got a real authentic taste of Greek community living. The Greek people are so considerate of one another - it was a refreshing break from London. This man kindly showed me around the best spots in the neighbourhood after I finished my lunch and offered to cook me a homemade Greek seafood meal the following afternoon. This is a special place with undeniable charm. Engage with the locals, enjoy the delicious food, and breathe into a slower way of life. Wonderful little taverna for a quick bite outside the ferry. The owner was featured by the New York Times years ago. The service was friendly and the family who runs the Taverna were ecstatic to show us around and make recommendations.

This place is ran by the sweetest couple. We were waiting for our ferry in Rafina and we were lucky enough to walk by this restaurant. He greeted us with a warm smile and offered fresh grapes on the house while we waited. We were all so glad to have stumbled across this place. His hospitality and friendliness made us feel at home.

What an amazing experience and meal! What we thought would be a quick lunch turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences in our whole three week trip! The food and the hospitality were second to none! Highly recommend!

The owner is very welcoming and kind, and shows you how hospitable the Greeks are. The food was fresh, delicious and just what you need to satisfy your gyros needs. The best gyros in Greece!

This was our very first meal in Greece and it was fantastic. The owner was so hospitable and loved sharing his cuisine with us. He did bring some various dishes for us to try, which did end up on our bill, but it was not much and we really enjoyed the experience.

Great food and prices at the port in Rafina. We stayed to try more Gyros and salads. Great host/waiter/comedian also that we adored. Thank you Efi and the captain! Ciao

Demetrius and Efi were the most warm and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed hearing about the previous establishments he has owned and his stories of fishing. The dishes we ate were spectacular, especially the tzatziki and gyro, and the seasonal treats he shared went perfect with the raki, a great way to end the meal. Be sure to stop here for authentic Greek eats before you get on or when you get off the ferry!
